Burgundy, Butter and Beyond
Join us for our monthly Wednesday Wine series with San Francisco Wine School! These are casual, fun 2-hour classes for those interested in learning more about their favorite varietals.
Cab is often proclaimed as King, but Chard is everywhere...Chardonnay is Pinot’s Burgundian cousin, California’s most widely grown grape and is grown all over the world. Learn its origins, other homes and characteristics. Taste it with and without oak, from cool and warm climates. Discover how it varies based on climate, soils and traditions in various international regions through a guided tasting of 5-6 wines. Despite the differences you will find common threads. This class is a must for Chardonnay lovers and those seeking to improve their wine tasting skills and knowledge.
Please note that due to the Paul McCartney concert at SAP Center on this night, traffic will be heavy and parking will be challenging. We suggest using a ride share service or a taxi. Food service will not be available in the room during class. If you wish to dine prior to the class, reservations are highly recommended.
