Food Pairing Lab
Part 7 in our series-WINE, SPIRITS, TASTING, PAIRING, SERVICE, AND BEYOND: AN 11 Session program to help students develop a foundational knowledge in a broad array of fine beverages. Designed for both industry professionals and beginners alike.
Can you create perfect pairings or are you paralyzed by the rules? Learn pairing theories and exceptions and the progression of flavors in multi-course meals. Come play with your food and wine as we taste 36 combinations and discuss each student's impressions and preferences. Challenging food ingredients will also be reviewed and how to overcome the hurdles they present. You will gain a great deal of confidence in pairing wine and food and lose your fears. **Please inform us of any dietary allergies or intolerances at the time of registration so we can accommodate your needs.**
This workshop may be taken as part of our Somm Essentials program or individually a la carté. Your workshop fees can be applied to the cost of the program tuition if you would like to continue on. Payment plans are available for the full series.
