There is a well-worn myth that the famous monk, Dom Perignon, called out to his fellow brothers, “Come quickly, I am drinking the stars!” when he tasted the first sparkling Champagne (reputedly of his own creation). Well this may not be true, it does possess a certain poetic imagery that captures the joy of drinking a fine Champagne, for there is nothing more luxurious, nothing more satisfying, nothing more festive, than sipping a glass of genuine French Bubbly. Most of us here at ELS are big fans of this delicious elixir and this is one of our FAVORITE tastings. Bring your friends - this tasting is a great way to ring in the Holidays AND to discover some amazing wines to “pop open” at your upcoming holiday gatherings. We’ll have some of the “big names” you know and love, but will focus on the smaller, artisanal producers that we pride ourselves on carrying. Drop-in tasting. Attendees walk up at their leisure and get pours at their own pace. 8-10 wines TBD.

Ticket Includes:
Admittance, all selected food and beverage offerings, party hat and noisemaker.
Wine Option:
If guests would like to enjoy a wine not offered in our evening's special selection, they may purchase a bottle(s) off the shelf at retail price - corkage fee will be waived for the evening.
Maximum Capacity:
Attendance will be limited to 60 guests. We expect this event to sell out quickly, so make your reservations early! Tickets must be paid for in advance - no spaces will be held without payment.
Cancellation Policy:
In order to receive a refund, cancellations must be received at least 48 hours prior to the event. We appreciate your consideration in this matter.
Enoteca La Storia is in the process of developing a new calendar of wine classes and events for your enjoyment. We promise to announce a news series of entertaining and instructional programs in the (very near) future!

ELS is celebrating our 2nd anniversary! It’s been 2 years since we opened our doors and we want to celebrate this marvelous milestone by throwing a party - and we want you to join us! No, Louie Prima won’t be making an appearance - although he may be playing on the stereo (along with Frank, Dino, Bobby and others) - but we have other “luminaries” coming to add some unique sparkle to the festivities. We’ve enlisted Mike’s dad, Joe, to fry up some of his famous calamari (which is just about as famous as Mike’s mom’s, Ginger, Carrot Cake). We’ll also have Dori Occhipinti, of Italfoods Inc., the supplier of some of our wonderful meats, cheeses, spreads and olive oils, on hand to regale you with her charm, knowledge, and enthusiasm - and share some of her tasty treats with you. Of course, the wine will be flowing to make sure the occasion is merry and memorable. Good food, good wine and good people - sounds like a party at ELS! Don’t miss this one, it will be a true Festa “alla Famiglia!”
