Are you interested in wine and curious about starting a collection or cellar, but don’t have time to do the research necessary to choose the optimal wines for your needs? Let us help you. We will partner with you to create an impressive, individualized cellar that best fits your personal tastes. Perhaps you prefer California wines but also have an interest in French and Italian bottlings? We can sculpt a collection that favors domestic labels, but is balanced by a smaller percentage of European wines. Or maybe it’s the other way around? No problem. We can craft the perfect cellar just for you.

We start with a verbal consultation to define budget, style and region parameters. We then create a written draft that we will review and confirm with you prior to making any purchases. Once settled, all purchases will be made at the best possible price on the open market. We’ll match any pricing provided it comes through approved distribution and is not acquired through the grey market.*

* The grey market is a secondary market that is run by brokers in Europe who buy wine from various sources abroad that may not be the actual producers. They are then sold to retailers in California sight unseen and then presold to consumers at discounted prices who pay up front and then wait up to year for their arrival. Grey Market wines often have secondary labels to meet California standards such as a thin strip indicating alcohol content. Our main concern with grey market wines is that their path from the producer can never be confirmed and there is potential for buying damaged wines. This becomes a particular problem when wines are purchased for ageing and the damage is not revealed for years after the purchase.
